ACER’s training and accreditation workshops reflect our commitment to high standards of practice in the use of psychological tools. We believe the best outcome can be achieved by using quality products in a professional way. Backed by highly experienced trainers and international guest speakers, you will find that our programs are stimulating, enjoyable and enhance your use and understanding of assessment tools.
The ACER Accreditation program is a one-day training course which incorporates an Introduction to Occupational Testing (M level accreditation), Test Administration, an overview of HR instruments, and an overview of the Work Personality Index (WPI). The course is widely recognised as the industry standard and will give you accreditation to administer all M level HR restricted tests as well as providing an introduction to psychometric tests, including administration, scoring, case studies, the tasks of the test administrator and best practice for professional testing. As part of the course you will also learn how to effectively use the world’s leading personality tests to help select, develop and retain the right people.
The ACER Personality Type Accreditation program is a two-step course which provides an in-depth understanding of each of the 16 personality types described by Carl Jung and Isabel Myers. The Majors Personality Type Inventory – MajorsPTI™ – (Step 1) was developed in the 1990s by Mark Majors and is a 52-question questionnaire that identifies the personality types and can be completed within 10 minutes. The Majors PT-Elements™ (Step II) is a more in-depth measure which reports on specific areas of development and potential blockages. The MajorsPTI™ is an excellent instrument for coaching and team development purposes. Those already accredited in the use of a Personality Type instrument need only attend the final day of the broad Majors’ program.
The ACER Emotional Intelligence Accreditation program is an in-house two-day training course (including pre and post-course work) which teaches participants how to administer, score and interpret a valid emotional intelligence instrument, the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0), in addition to the Emotional Quotient (EQ 360) assessment. Following certification, you will be able to use the EQ-I 2.0 and EQ 360 for coaching, training, team development, recruitment, succession planning and talent management. These instruments have particular relevance for executive coaching, personal coaching, leadership development and employee engagement.
